Hipster Babies

Have I mentioned that I love my vinly cutting machine? I do.  The mustache mugs have been doing so well on Etsy that I thought, hey, maybe there are other things I can put mustaches on...

Just sold the first one last night. George is now immortalized on some hipster baby soon to be ruling the neighborhood.

I'm partial to the Ben onesie...

Win a Silhouette Cameo!

I LOVE my regular Silhouette. I use it for personal stuff, but mainly for templates for Etsy. You wonder how I get my lines so straight painting... Well, it's my Silhouette. I can't paint a straight line to save my life. True story.

Expressions Vinyl, where I get 90% of my vinyl from, is giving away a Silhouette Cameo to one lucky person!  I know, why would I want a Cameo when I already have the original Silhouette? Well, for one main and very important reason. My regular Silhouette can only cut as wide as 8 inches.  A Cameo can cut up to 12 inches. AWESOME! Trust me.

Go enter! And if You win, good Karma will come my way. Click on the picture below to enter Expressions Vinyl give-a-way.

Nostalgia = Lightbulb

My sweet grandma gave Mister and I a very unique present for Christmas.  It was a bunch of blue and pink laminated cards that had pictures of my ancestors with a few details on them.  To her it was a way to try and get me (and the rest of my siblings/cousins) to learn about where we come from and appreciate it.  To me it became my creative lightbulb.  Those simple cards got me thinking about things I love about going to my grandma's house. And then the lightbulb turned on.  I am so excited to create this new item because to me it's comes from a memory of something good.  So stay tuned. I'm hoping to have it done and showcased to you by Sunday night.

Luckily it does not involve my Brother. No sewing my finger today!

Words That Inspire

Words are inspiring.
There are certain quotes that I love and inspire me.

Live The Life You Love, Love The Life You Live. That's how I have chosen to live my life.

Together We Can Do Great Things.  I saw this quote on Pinterest one day and fell in love with it.  It's true.  I know that I can do great things on my own, but together WE can do great things. Make a difference. Change the world around us.

Life Is Beauty Full. Life is Beautiful is a common phrase.  But Life is Beauty Full describes how I feel about life so much more completely. Life is full of beauty. You just have to recognize it.

So I'm sharing my favorite quotes. I started my Etsy shop to create and share things that make me laugh, inspire me and make me happy.  The past few days I've been working all day in my office painting new mugs and creating sign boards.  And it hasn't felt like work. I've had a smile on my face the whole time. If you are interested in any of these signs I've linked the quote to its' Etsy page. Like always, I ship free to Salt Lake Locals. Just convo me.

I LOVE to create. 2012 is truly about Living a Life I Love and Loving the Life I Live.

GLITTER! Must.Buy.Now.

I LOVE Halloween. I LOVE a glittery Halloween even more.

Introducing... Krylon Glitter Blast.  For the love of all that is crafty and good!

However, one snag. Can't find it anywhere in stores. I called JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby and Michaels (all of which carry the Krylon brand). Nope. So I caved. Bought it online.  Should be here next week.

Can't wait to show you what I'm gonna make with my glittery new friend!
